Job Description
Klaimee is building liability coverage for the mistakes and failures of AI agents. We are a Y Combinator company backed by insurance capacity from-rated Bermuda-based partner, which powers our first product: a warranty for AI agent failures. Every company deploying AI agents will need this. Nobody owns the category yet.
Find Klaimee’s repeatable go-to-market motion - then own it. We sell through three possible channels: insurance brokers, embedded partners (AI platforms and agent frameworks bundling our insurance), and direct to companies deploying agents. Your first year is channel discovery: run all three motions, read the data, and tell us where to double down. This is a founder-track role - you are defining our GTM strategy, not executing someone else’s playbook.
What you’ll own
- Direct sales. Prospect, pitch, and close companies deploying AI agents. Own the full cycle from first call to signed coverage - and turn what you learn into our sales playbook.
- Broker channel. Build relationships with brokers who serve AI-native companies; make Klaimee the product they reach for when clients ask about AI agent risk.
- Partnerships. Originate embedded distribution deals with AI platforms, agent frameworks, and marketplaces - warranty as a feature of their offering.
- Numbers. Targets are set together and revised as we learn - but this role carries a number from day one.
What success looks like in 12 months
- We know which channel repeats - backed by closed deals, not theory - and have a written playbook for it. And you’ve hired
- A real pipeline exists across all three motions, with revenue and signed partnerships we can show investors.
- Founders are out of first position on day-to-day selling.
- You’ve earned the case to lead the GTM team we hire next - and helped define who those hires should be.
Who you are
- 3–8 years in B2B go-to-market, including zero-to-one revenue: founding AE, early GTM hire, or ex-founder who sold their own product.
- You’ve run at least two of the three motions - direct sales, channel/broker, partnerships - with evidence, and the switching between them energizes rather than drains you.
- Comfortable selling a new category with no playbook: you create structure, run experiments, and kill what doesn’t work fast.
Bonus points: insurtech distribution experience (selling through brokers and direct - think early Vouch, Coalition, Newfront, Embroker) · you’ve sold to AI-native or developer-tool companies · you’ve been a founder.
What we offer
Competitive salary with a meaningful variable component tied to the number you own, plus significant founding-team equity - discussed openly in our first conversation. Full ownership of go-to-market at the ground floor of a new category, working directly with the founders.

About Klaimee
Klaimee is the first insurance for your AI agents. It covers what traditional E&O and cyber explicitly carve out, so you can deploy agentic AI at scale with real peace of mind. Built for companies deploying agentic AI, self-serve from day one. The problem: AI agents are taking actions autonomously buying, emailing, modifying sensitive data. AB 316 already holds deployers liable. EU AI Act enforces in August. Cyber and E&O insurance are excluding AI claims. Companies shipping agents have zero coverage and no third-party proof their agent is safe. Enterprise legal asks "who pays if your agent breaks something?" and there's no good answer. We built the answer. Critical-category risk evaluation, certification, financial guarantee, liability insurance and the documentation enterprise procurement needs to sign off. Team: Ines (ex-General Manager at SafetyWing, grew insurance product from $5M to $60M revenue, 5 years launching insurance products from scratch and structuring a TokioMarine MGA into its own carrier) + Julien (AI software engineer + corporate strategy, enterprise compliance). We understand how insurance works, what enterprises require, and why startups can't wait 6 months for either.
