What you need
- Degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1+ yr factory floor experience in food, beverage, chemicals, or pharma.
- Background in process engineering, industrial automation, Industry 4.0, and IT/OT systems.
- Analyze sensor and time-series data and create compelling data visualizations.
- Skilled communicator leading discussions with customer stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Deliver technology overviews and lead technical discussions with customer teams.
- Guide process engineers on hardware installation in Food and Beverage plants.
- Collaborate with IT/OT teams on network and cloud integration.
- Drive SAT certificate signoff and customer testimonials.
- Travel up to 50% to customer sites for pilot deployment.

The Role
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (CPG) to ensure the successful deployment of our Laminar technology deployment pilots in the Food and Beverage sector. This role is deeply customer-facing, with the majority of time spent embedded at customer sites driving execution, adoption, and satisfaction. You’ll be the trusted partner to the customer champion, ensuring pilots are completed on time and signed off with confidence.
When not with customers, you will strengthen your product expertise with our core teams and work closely with sales to identify and support expansion opportunities. In a nutshell, this role requires technical applications engineering knowledge, sales engineering enthusiasm and project management mindset.
