Founding Engineer

flowscope (YC P26) is an AI-native consulting firm that uses agents to map and automate business processes.

We're a small, fast-moving team backed by great investors and based in San Francisco. We ship fast, talk to users constantly, and are just getting started. We're looking for engineers who want to own product from day one and help shape the future of how companies run.

The Role

You'll be one of our first engineers. You'll work directly with the founders, own major parts of the codebase, and ship product fast. This is true founding-level ownership. You'll shape both the product and the company, working at the intersection of AI, real-world operations, and product.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and ship features across the full stack
• Own core systems and product areas end to end
• Work directly with the founders on product and technical direction
• Talk to users, iterate quickly, and turn real-world workflows into product
• Help set the engineering culture and standards as we grow

Who You Are

• 2+ years of engineering experience
• Experience building AI/ML applications, including LLM prompting and tuning.
• Strong full-stack skills and a strong bias toward shipping
• Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build at the earliest stage
• Based in (or relocating to) San Francisco. This is an in-person role
