Early-career sales. A path to Account Executive. $130K+ on-target earnings.

Corgi is building a fully automated insurance carrier, and we just earned approval to sell trucking insurance nationwide. The market is worth more than $40 billion, and almost all of it still runs on paper files and rating engines built in the 1990s. We're rebuilding it from scratch, and we're hiring Business Development Representatives to help expand our national distribution.

This is your chance to get on the phones at the very start, learn sales and insurance from the people building the business, and earn your way up faster than you could anywhere else.

The Role

You'll build relationships with trucking insurance brokers, fleet operators, dispatchers, safety directors, and other distribution partners. You'll research every account before you reach out, run a disciplined outreach cadence, qualify opportunities, and hand them to our Account Executives with clear context and next steps. Then you'll stay involved, helping accounts through onboarding and their first bind.

This is high-volume, high-accountability outbound sales. It's demanding, it's measured daily, and it's the best sales training ground we know of.

This role is in-office 5 to 6 days a week. It is not remote and it is not hybrid. We win in the building, together.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and develop relationships with insurance brokers, trucking companies, fleets, and distribution partners
  • Make 100+ outbound calls and send 30+ emails per day
  • Research each account's operations, fleet size, equipment, lanes, and loss history before outreach
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline, with accurate activity, notes, and opportunities in the CRM
  • Qualify opportunities and hand them off to Account Executives with clear context and next steps
  • Support accounts through onboarding and first bind, working across sales, underwriting, and operations to clear blockers fast
  • Spot additional revenue and distribution opportunities within your accounts

What Success Looks Like

Your first week: Get certified on our product, our underwriting appetite, and how trucking insurance actually works, so you can hold a real conversation with a broker or fleet owner. Build your target account list and outreach cadence. Make your first 100+ dials.

Your first month: Hit 100+ calls and 30+ emails a day, every day. Book qualified meetings your Account Executive can close, and hand off every one cleanly.

Months three to six: Consistently hit your meeting and pipeline targets, support accounts from close through first bind, and earn your promotion to Account Executive.

Who Thrives Here

We hire for hunger, not pedigree. You'll do well here if you're competitive, a confident communicator, and want to outwork everyone around you. You're comfortable picking up the phone and hearing no fifty times to get to a yes. You're highly organized, coachable, and you do what you say you'll do. You want a sales career, and you want it fast.

Experience in sales, insurance, trucking, logistics, recruiting, athletics, military service, debate, fundraising, or any prior outbound work (SDR, door-to-door, recruiting) is helpful, as is genuine curiosity about trucking and insurance. None of it is required.

You must be authorized to work in the United States.

Who You'll Work With

The trucking program is led by Co-CEOs Drew Bregman and Brianna Lynch, alongside Daniel Hausman, VP of Trucking Program. As a BDR, you'll work directly with this team and learn both the sales and insurance sides of the industry.

Drew Bregman, Co-CEO. Drew founded a behavioral assessment company that helps the NSA and the U.S. military identify talent. He co-founded Corgi's M&A team and built the sales division at our subsidiary Beagle, where revenue grew 40% month over month. He started his career building transportation management software for a large freight brokerage.

Brianna Lynch, Co-CEO. Brianna began her career at EY, then led FP&A and Corporate Development at HarbourVest Partners before moving to Affiliated Managers Group, an $880 billion asset manager, where she worked on M&A and Investor Relations across private equity, hedge fund, and venture capital firms. She joined Corgi in 2025 and leads M&A alongside Drew.

Daniel Hausman, VP of Trucking Program. Daniel has spent his career building and scaling commercial trucking insurance programs across underwriting, capacity, distribution, operations, and technology.

Growth

This is a launchpad, not a static BDR seat. Hit your numbers consistently, and you move up to Account Executive. Strong performers can also grow into Account Management, Operations, and other roles as the trucking organization expands.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $60,000 to $80,000 base salary, based on experience
  • $130,000+ on-target earnings
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k)
  • A clear, fast path to Account Executive

Variable compensation is performance-based and subject to the applicable compensation plan.

  2. Work trial with live cold calls
  3. Onsite with the team
