Invoicing specialist

Introduction to the job 

As an invoicing specialist at ASML, you play a key role in turning complex technology deliveries into accurate financial outcomes. Your work ensures that customers are billed correctly and on time, directly supporting ASML’s revenue flow and financial transparency. 

In this role, you contribute to ASML’s mission to enable advanced chip manufacturing by ensuring reliable and compliant invoicing processes in a highly international environment. The invoicing specialist function connects finance, logistics, and sales, helping ASML grow responsibly and sustainably. 

Role and responsibilities 

As an invoicing specialist, you are responsible for executing and improving customer billing activities across different revenue streams. You work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in invoicing processes. You will be part of the Customer Operations team within the ASML Business Services (ABS) organization. 

In this role, you will: 

• Execute timely and accurate invoicing for delivered systems, options, and services as well as coordinate with logistics, sales, customs, tax, and accounting teams to align billing inputs
• Resolve invoicing issues and support escalation handling with relevant stakeholders
• Analyze billing data to improve quality, efficiency, and transparency of processes
• Support improvement initiatives related to customer billing and digital interfaces
• Act as a point of contact for invoicing-related questions from internal and external partners
• Contribute to control activities and support internal and external audit requirements
• Embed and sustain an Operational Excellence way of working through standardization, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement to support scalable, compliant, and efficient operations

Education and experience 

To succeed as an invoicing specialist, you bring:

• Master's degree in finance, business economics, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
• Experience working in an international and cross-functional environment
• Working knowledge of enterprise systems such as SAP ECC/SD or Oracle
• Experience with accounts receivable, billing, or sales-related financial processes
