As a Fixed Assets Accountant, you ensure accurate accounting and are responsible for the proper and timely processing of all financial transactions related to fixed assets (CAPEX). In this responsible role, you work closely with internal stakeholders and make a substantial contribution to the quality and transparency of financial reporting.

Role and responsibilities

• Ensure accurate postings in accordance with the Group Accounting Manual and applicable local GAAP regulations
• Review, analyze, and, where necessary, adjust postings in line with internal group accounting policies and local statutory requirements
• Actively participate in accounting-related process improvement and optimization projects
• Provide relevant information for cash flow forecasts related to investment and CAPEX projects
• Maintain, update, and document CAPEX requests and investment projects
• Ensure audit-compliant and proper filing of all investment-related documentation
• Work closely with business controllers, including providing regular status updates on ongoing investments
• Support the preparation and execution of the annual financial audit

Education and experience

• Successfully completed university degree in finance, accounting, or a comparable qualification
• In-depth knowledge of relevant tax and accounting regulations
• Very good communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken
• Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented working approach
• High sense of responsibility and ability to work independently within your area of responsibility
• Strong team player with a confident and professional manner when interacting with internal stakeholders and external service providers
• Proven experience in processing financial transactions
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, particularly in the area of fixed asset accounting
• Confident use of SAP as well as MS Office applications
• Demonstrated professional experience in accounting or auditing within medium-sized and large companies
• Several years of relevant experience in general ledger and subledger accounting, ideally in a fixed assets environment

Als Fixed Assets Accountant / Anlagenbuchhalter:in stellst du eine korrekte Buchhaltung sicher und gewährleistest die ordnungsgemäße, zeitnahe Verarbeitung aller Finanztransaktionen im Zusammenhang mit dem Anlagevermögen (CAPEX). In dieser verantwortungsvollen Rolle arbeitest du eng mit internen Stakeholdern zusammen und trägst maßgeblich zur Qualität und Transparenz der Finanzberichterstattung bei.

Deine Aufgaben

• Sicherstellung korrekter Buchungen gemäß Rechnungslegungshandbuch des Konzerns sowie den geltenden lokalen GAAP‑Vorschriften
• Überprüfung, Analyse und ggf. Anpassung von Buchungen an konzerninterne Accounting‑Richtlinien und lokale gesetzliche Anforderungen
• Aktive Mitwirkung an Prozess‑ und Verbesserungsprojekten im Accounting‑Umfeld
• Bereitstellung relevanter Informationen für Cashflow‑Forecasts im Zusammenhang mit Investitions‑ und CAPEX‑Projekten
• Pflege, Aktualisierung und Dokumentation von CAPEX‑Anträgen und Investitionsprojekten
• Sicherstellung einer revisionssicheren und ordnungsgemäßen Ablage aller Investitionsunterlagen
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Business Controllern inklusive regelmäßiger Statusupdates zu laufenden Investitionen
• Unterstützung bei der Vorbereitung und Durchführung der jährlichen Jahresabschlussprüfung

Deine Qualifikationen

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium im Bereich Finanzen, Rechnungswesen oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Fundierte Kenntnisse relevanter Steuer‑ und Rechnungslegungsvorschriften
• Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch, schriftlich wie mündlich
• Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten sowie eine strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
• Hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein und eigenständiges Arbeiten im eigenen Aufgabenbereich
• Teamfähigkeit und souveränes Auftreten im Austausch mit internen Ansprechpartnern und externen Dienstleistern
• Nachweisliche Erfahrung in der Verarbeitung von Finanztransaktionen
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse der IFRS sowie US‑GAAP mit Bezug zur Anlagenbuchhaltung
• Sicherer Umgang mit SAP sowie MS‑Office‑Anwendungen
• Nachgewiesene Berufserfahrung im Rechnungswesen oder in der Wirtschaftsprüfung mittelständischer und großer Unternehmen
• Mehrjährige relevante Erfahrung in der Hauptbuch‑ und Nebenbuchhaltung, idealerweise im Fixed‑Assets‑Umfeld
