Job Description
This role is located in Somerville, MA – We are a hybrid work environment and are in the office 3+ days per week.
Tulip brings modern technology and AI into manufacturing. Manufacturing accounts for almost 20% of the global economy and one in every seven workers on Earth, yet remains among the least digitized. More than a decade ago, we created the category to close that gap: AI-native software that puts cutting-edge tools directly in the hands of the people on the manufacturing front lines. Because we are human-centered and tech-obsessed, we are building a future of work where human ingenuity is amplified with the latest technology.
In January 2026 we became one of Boston's few new AI unicorns, reaching a $1.3B valuation. We're growing double digits in revenue year over year. The world's best manufacturers run on Tulip - turning inventory 10x faster, releasing gene therapies in hours instead of weeks, and training master craftspeople to forge engagement rings 5x more rapidly. Headquartered in Somerville, MA with offices in Germany, Hungary, Singapore, Japan, and Israel, we've been consistently named a World Economic Forum Global Innovator, a Gartner leader, and one of Built In Boston's "Best Places to Work."
We run the way we build: AI-forward, humanistic, and high ownership. We're looking for builders who are energized by complex problems, rapid cycles, and the unique opportunity to see their impact on a global scale.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on engineering role split between two things: building the AI-native tools, agents, and automations that power Tulip's go-to-market motion, and partnering directly with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to keep those systems reliable, adopted, and delivering measurable impact in production. You'll work across Clay, LLM platforms, and the broader GTM tech stack.
About You:
You are a builder who is energized by the intersection of modern AI and real commercial problems. You don't stop at a working prototype. You ship production-grade tools with the reliability, evaluation, and guardrails to hold up under daily use, and you move quickly through ambiguity without losing sight of the business problem you're solving.
What skills do I need?
- 3-5+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, Revenue Operations, Business Systems, or a software engineering role building data or AI-driven applications, ideally within B2B SaaS
- Hands-on experience building and shipping AI-powered workflows or agentic automations that solved a real business problem
- Deep familiarity with Clay (or a comparable enrichment/automation platform) and the broader GTM tech stack: Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo, Looker, and similar
- Comfort writing scripts or connecting systems via APIs and webhooks (Python, JavaScript, or SQL) to move data cleanly between tools
- Proven ability to operate through ambiguity: scoping vague stakeholder asks into well-defined, measurable solutions and shipping iteratively
- Experience integrating LLMs or ML into production systems (RAG, evaluations) is a plus
- Familiarity with data warehouses or BI tools (Redshift, Sigma) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and ship AI-native tools, agents, and automations in Clay and adjacent platforms that make Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations faster and more consistent
- Integrate LLMs and agentic patterns (prompt design, retrieval, evaluations) into production GTM workflows such as CRM enrichment, account scoring, deal intelligence, and automated outreach
- Evaluate and evolve the GTM technology ecosystem (Salesforce, Clay, Gong, ZoomInfo, and emerging AI-native platforms), building integrations and automation frameworks that reduce manual effort and improve reliability
- Diagnose gaps in core GTM workflows: pipeline management, forecasting, sales enablement, and partner operations. Prioritize getting to the root cause, not just automating around a broken process
- Partner with stakeholders across Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to turn ambiguous requests into well-scoped, measurable tools
- Own what you build end to end: prototyping, backend services, deployment, monitoring, and iteration. Put reliability, evaluation, and data-quality guardrails in place so AI features hold up in production
- Measure adoption and business impact of what you ship, and use that signal to decide what to build next and where to double down
Key Collaborators:
- GTM Operations / Revenue Operations
- Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services
- Product, Engineering, and Data teams
- Commercial leadership
