We are looking for an Antenna RF Engineer
CANDIDATES THAT WOULD IMPRESS US
You have graduated with a BSc qualification in a relevant discipline.
You have excellent English, both oral and written.
You have previous working experience in Space projects, preferably in the design and development of Antenna RF components.
You are a team player with a methodical approach to work, able to work autonomously and set priorities.
You are committed to assigned tasks and schedules, willing to propose solutions with a spirit of innovation.
COMPETENCIES:
You have strong analytical skills, a pragmatic and product/results-oriented approach, and the ability to generate innovative solutions.
You are familiar with design and technological aspects specific to the development of Antennas and passive components for space applications.
You have very good knowledge of SW tools for the design of Antennas and RF devices (Microwave Office, HFSS, CST Suite, ADS, Microwave Wizard, TICRA Tools, GRASP, POS, Feko, etc.).
You have knowledge of Matlab and/or at least one programming language (Fortran90 or C++).
Basic knowledge of standard Project Management techniques and tools is considered a strong asset.
LIFE AS A SENIOR ANTENNA RF ENGINEER ROLE
As a Senior Antenna RF Engineer role within Thales, you will:
Design and develop Antenna RF solutions in the frame of satellite programs, projects, R&D studies, and industrial activities.
Perform RF Design of Antennas involving both passive components and active antenna RF front-ends, including concept formulation, feasibility, and trade-off.
Synthesize, design circuits, and perform electromagnetic modeling and simulation of Antennas and components, including complex beam-formers.
Select and define the most appropriate technology, manufacturing processes, and procedures for the development of space-qualified Antennas.
Implement components development plans, monitor workshops and suppliers, and prepare purchase orders.
Test Antenna and RF Subsystems/Components and prepare relevant reporting.
Contribute to the preparation of proposals, provide technical management of projects and studies, and prepare technical reports and program review documentation.
Interface with customers, subcontractors, or suppliers.
