The ADATS Technical Training Manager will provide support to all aspects of training, assessment, development and delivery on ADATS (Australian Defence Air Traffic System) and will support the ADATS Though Life Support activities.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ADATS Training Instructor will be responsible to:
- undertake and/or assist in the development of training and assessment material, when required
- lead the delivery of ADATS training and assessment events
- supervise, coordinate, mentor and monitor the performance of trainees undertaking training
- undertake and/or assist in the development or conduct of training evaluation and validation activities
- undertake and/or assist in the development or conduct of training needs analysis activities
- provide an equitable and accessible training and assessment environment for all training customers and participants
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40122) or equivalent
- Advanced Certificate in Electronics or equivalent
- vocational experience as a ADF Training Instructor; or
- vocational experience in the Training Instructor for RAN/RNZN/RNZAF/RN/RAF roles.
- demonstrated strong experience in the Air Traffic Management technical domain.
- Primary and Secondary Ground RADAR knowledge and / experience
- UNIX based Data Processing and Display computer system knowledge and experience
GOOD TO KNOW
Prior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks. A Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. The U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
