In many cases, you are candidates’ first encounter with SpaceX, and it is your job to represent the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm. We work in teams and focus on collaboration, yet require a high degree of autonomy. So, while you are not expected to go it alone, you are expected to show initiative, take responsibility, and see tasks through to completion.

- Leverage AI-powered sourcing and research tools to increase pipeline speed and quality while maintaining a personal touch
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and refine sourcing strategy
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens to assess interest and qualifications
- Track sourcing metrics and pipeline health and share relevant data points with recruiters and hiring teams
- Represent SpaceX’s mission and culture compellingly to prospective candidates
- Stay current on market trends, competitor talent pools, and compensation benchmarks
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of technical recruiting experience
- Experience sourcing for engineering, hardware, or technical manufacturing roles
- Strong Boolean/X-ray search skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to distinguish between the top 50% and the top 5% of talent within their respective fields
- High tolerance for ambiguity and a bias toward action
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for potential discretionary bonuses. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, and various other discounts and perks. You will also be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year.
