Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms.

We’re looking for a highly organized, execution-focused Senior Finance Operations Analyst to help build and scale financial systems and processes across the business.

This role sits at the center of how financial data and workflows move across Finance, Accounting, Contracts, Program Management, and Procurement. You will partner closely with stakeholders to implement new tools and processes, ensure systems are aligned, and drive consistent adoption across the organization.

You will be expected to independently identify opportunities for improvement, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution with minimal oversight. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning projects end-to-end—from initial design through rollout, training, and ongoing optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Systems & Process Execution

    · Own and drive the rollout of new financial tools, workflows, and process improvements across the organization (e.g., charge code structures, system enhancements).

    · Partner with Enterprise Technology and Finance to ensure financial systems are integrated, scalable, and operating effectively.

    · Lead implementation efforts including process design, documentation, testing, rollout coordination, and post-launch optimization.

    · Proactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, or failure points in financial workflows and take ownership of designing and implementing solutions.

    Cross-Functional Financial Operations

    · Partner with Accounting, Contracts, Program Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure financial processes align with operational needs.

    · Translate business requirements into clear financial workflows and system configurations.

    · Influence stakeholders across functions to drive adoption of new processes, even in the face of competing priorities or resistance.

    · Actively engage with stakeholders to uncover pain points and process breakdowns, and drive improvements without waiting for direction.

    · Serve as a key point of contact for financial operations questions, issue resolution, and process guidance.

    Contract-to-Cash & Core Financial Operations

    · Own and support billing and invoicing processes, ensuring alignment with contract terms and program structures.

    · Support and improve cash forecasting by consolidating inputs across programs, procurement, and operational activities.

    · Ensure financial data is accurate and consistent across ERP and supporting systems.

    · Monitor workflows and proactively flag risks, discrepancies, or process breakdowns.

    Spend Visibility & Operational Insight

    · Improve visibility into spend across procurement, manufacturing, and program execution.

    · Drive improvements in cost tracking and financial reporting across programs.

    · Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and actionable improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • · Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

    · 4–6 years of experience in financial operations, FP&A, accounting operations, or a related role.

    · Strong understanding of core financial concepts (forecasting, invoicing, cost tracking) and ability to apply them operationally.

    · Experience working with ERP or financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce).

    · Demonstrated experience owning and driving cross-functional projects or system/process implementations.

    · Strong judgment and ability to prioritize competing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

    · Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

    · Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across functions and levels of the organization.

    · Demonstrated ability to proactively identify problems, take initiative, and drive

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Occasional standing and walking within the office.

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.

  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports.

  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies.

  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages).
