About Pluto
Pluto is building financial infrastructure for the AI compute economy. Compute is becoming one of the most important inputs in the world, but the market is still opaque, relationship-driven, and fragmented. We are building products that help buyers, sellers, and financial participants transact around compute more efficiently.
We are looking for a Head of Compute Sales to help us sell compute capacity directly into the market.
Role
This is a sales role. Your job is to source buyers, build relationships with compute users, understand what capacity they need, and close transactions.
You will work directly with the founders to build Pluto’s compute sales motion from the ground up. This means identifying demand, calling customers, managing the pipeline, negotiating deals, and turning conversations into revenue.
Responsibilities
- Sell GPU compute capacity to AI labs, startups, enterprises, research groups, and other compute buyers
- Build and manage a pipeline of customers looking for H100, H200, B200, A100, and other GPU capacity
- Source new buyers through outbound, referrals, existing relationships, conferences, and ecosystem mapping
- Understand customer needs across GPU type, region, duration, price, networking, storage, and deployment requirements
- Match buyers with available compute supply
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, volume, duration, and delivery expectations
- Work closely with the founders on sales strategy, customer prioritization, and market feedback
- Maintain strong relationships with buyers and become their first call when they need compute
- Help Pluto understand real-time market pricing, demand, and customer behavior
What We’re Looking For
- Strong sales instincts and comfort doing outbound
- Ability to build trust quickly with technical and commercial buyers
- Clear understanding of how to sell infrastructure, cloud, GPUs, AI compute, or other technical products
- High urgency, persistence, and willingness to chase deals aggressively
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate in an early-stage, ambiguous environment
- Comfort speaking with AI startups, cloud providers, enterprises, brokers, and infrastructure teams
- Deep interest in AI infrastructure and compute markets
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships with AI labs, startups, cloud providers, neoclouds, brokers, or enterprise infrastructure buyers
- Experience selling cloud, GPUs, data center capacity, infrastructure, or technical services
- Understanding of GPU supply and demand dynamics
- Prior experience in brokerage, trading, commodities, or marketplace sales
