In this role you will own authentication and authorization across the organization—spanning SaaS applications, cloud environments, on-premises infrastructure, and user endpoints—while architecting scalable, secure identity solutions that keep pace with our rapidly growing company. You will focus on identity and access management, including access request workflows and access review systems, and help design authorization models that enforce our access restrictions for CUI, EAR, and ITAR data. Experience with Active Directory is a plus.

This position is onsite and requires working in our San Jose, CA office five days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Own authentication across the organization, including SaaS applications, cloud environments, on-premises infrastructure, and user endpoints.
  • Architect and continuously evolve our Okta environment to fit our needs while retaining the flexibility required by a fast-growing company.
  • Design authorization models for each system that grant access on a least-privilege, as-needed basis.
  • Build and maintain access request workflows and access review systems to streamline provisioning and periodic access certifications.
  • Define and enforce access restrictions that protect CUI, EAR, and ITAR-controlled data.
  • Administer and integrate identity across Okta, Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
  • Manage identity and access across AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Partner with IT, Security, and business teams to align identity and access management with compliance and operational requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Okta and identity management.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration.
  • Experience managing identity and access across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and access governance, including access requests and access reviews.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Experience supporting U.S. Government programs.
  • Experience with CUI data handling.
  • Experience with EAR/ITAR-controlled data handling.
  • Active or eligible for a U.S. security clearance.

Salary

The salary range for this role is $165,000 - $184,000, plus a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location as assessed during the interview process.
