What you need

  • MSW with LSW, LCSW, LCPC, LPC, or LCP certification
  • IL PEL certificate for school social work or counseling
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and consultative abilities
  • Data analysis and functional behavior assessment experience
  • Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency preferred

What you'll do

  • Employ data-based decision-making for behavioral assessments and interventions
  • Develop positive behavioral and academic student interventions
  • Monitor student progress and consult with staff and parents
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Travel locally to other Menta locations when necessary
Job Description
 
As a Social Worker Clinician with The Menta Education Group, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students.

6:45am-2:15pm CT, Monday-Friday, following a school calendar
Direct Hire with our school: Return school year after school year (no annual contract)

Responsibilities

  • Employ data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments and behavioral approaches
  • Build leadership to effectively help students succeed
  • Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions
  • Monitor and report student progress and complete evaluations, program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals
  • Some local travel to other Menta locations may be necessary at times

    • Qualifications

  • Only ONE of the following Licenses/Certifications: Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate) MSW with LSW, LCSW, LCPC, LPC, LCP
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
  • Creative thinker who can develop a wide range of interventions meeting the needs of a diverse student population
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
