What you need
- Valid Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement and clean driving record
- At least 23 yrs of age
- Able to work with high-risk special needs students
- Security or Juvenile Justice background helpful
- State of IL PERC Permanent Employee Registration Card preferred

- Provide academic and social-emotional support in classroom
- Manage classroom behaviors and maintain order/safety
- Transport students using school van before/after school
- Implement behavioral program policies and data
- Respond to emergency situations
Job Description
As a Classroom Security Paraprofessional with The Menta Education Group, you will be responsible for working with classroom instructors and staff to offer targeted teaching and support to students in the classroom, as well as general support for all students in the school.

- Must have Valid Driver's License and be willing to use School Van to transport students before & after school.

Monday-Friday: Hours vary depending on Transportation Route responsibilities: 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

This job offers consistent 12 Month Calendar compensation, but follows a 10 Month School Calendar.
