The Opportunity

We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist on the Radar Supply Chain Management team to own the day-to-day transactional execution and accuracy of inventory activity within NetSuite.

This is a system- and transaction-focused inventory control role. The position is primarily responsible for ERP execution and inventory administration and is not a warehouse or material-handling position. The Inventory Control Specialist will ensure inventory activity across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, contract manufacturers, and deployment programs is accurately and timely reflected in our ERP system.

This role will process a high volume of routine inventory transactions, including manufacturing work orders, assembly builds, material consumption, inventory adjustments, transfers, returns, reversals, rework, scrap, and transaction corrections. The role will also support reconciliation by researching transaction history and identifying missing, duplicate, or incorrect activity.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with repetitive transactional work, and understands that ERP transaction accuracy directly impacts inventory visibility, financial reporting, material availability, and production execution. You will work closely with Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Operations and report to the Associate Inventory Manager.

You will be responsible for:

• Execute and maintain accurate inventory transactions in NetSuite, including adjustments, transfers, returns, reversals, corrections, rework, scrap, and additional material consumption.
• Create, maintain, process, and close manufacturing work orders based on approved production requirements and documentation.
• Process component consumption/issuance and assembly builds, ensuring transactions align with approved BOMs, build quantities, and manufacturing records.
• Review approved BOM revisions and engineering changes and update applicable inventory transactions to accurately reflect material consumption.
• Research NetSuite transaction history to investigate inventory discrepancies, including work orders, item receipts, adjustments, transfers, assembly builds, and other inventory activity.
• Reconcile expected BOM consumption against actual ERP transactions, identifying and correcting missing, duplicate, or inaccurate postings with appropriate authorization.
• Support inventory reconciliation for contract manufacturers, remote/deployment locations, month-end activities, and Finance requests.
• Generate recurring NetSuite inventory and transaction reports and use Excel to reconcile inventory, BOM, work order, purchase history, and transaction data.
• Monitor open work orders and outstanding inventory transactions, maintain supporting documentation and audit trails, and drive transactional items through timely completion.
• Maintain inventory-control work instructions and standard processes, support historical data cleanup, and identify opportunities to reduce repetitive manual work and transaction errors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in inventory control, manufacturing transactions, ERP administration, materials management, or production control.
• Experience with inventory control, manufacturing transactions, ERP administration, materials management, or production control.
• Experience creating and processing manufacturing work orders and related inventory transactions, including adjustments, transfers, consumption, returns, and assembly builds.
• Working knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs), component-to-parent relationships, and how BOM quantities translate into material consumption.
• Experience researching transaction history, inventory discrepancies, and reconciliation issues.
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, filtering, formulas, and reconciliation of large data sets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while processing a high volume of routine and repetitive transactions.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive production requests.
• Ability to identify questionable or incorrect transactions, investigate or escalate issues appropriately, and avoid making unsupported assumptions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in inventory control, manufacturing transactions, ERP administration, materials management, or production control.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP/MRP system; NetSuite experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with electronics, aerospace, defense, high-tech manufacturing, engineering changes, NPI, or contract manufacturers is a plus.

Within 1 month, you’ll:

• Complete onboarding and become familiar with LeoLabs’ NetSuite environment, inventory structure, locations, BOMs, and manufacturing transaction flow.
• Learn the processes for work orders, assembly builds, inventory adjustments, transfers, consumption, returns, and reconciliation.
• Begin processing routine inventory transactions with oversight while understanding how they support Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and deployment activities.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Independently process routine work orders and inventory transactions, including adjustments, transfers, consumption, returns, and assembly builds.
• Generate standard NetSuite reports, research transaction history, and support routine inventory reconciliations.
• Identify and coordinate correction of incomplete or inaccurate transactions while maintaining appropriate supporting documentation.

Within 6 months, you’ll:

• Independently manage the majority of day-to-day NetSuite inventory transaction requests and proactively drive outstanding transactions to completion.
• Reconcile work order and BOM consumption against actual inventory transactions and investigate more complex discrepancies.
• Support month-end inventory reconciliation and Finance requests, providing clear and accurate transaction history as needed.

Within 12 months, you’ll:

• Serve as the primary resource for routine inventory transaction execution and ERP inventory administration.
• Maintain consistently high transaction accuracy and establish repeatable work instructions and processes for common inventory activities.
• Reduce the administrative burden of manual NetSuite transactions, allowing the Inventory Manager to focus on inventory controls, reconciliation, planning, and process improvement.

Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location. The base salary range for this position $83,000 + bonus + stock options + benefits
