The National Program Implementation Business Administration is within the Flight Projects Business Administration organization. Their objective is to oversee classified work in support of national security resulting in the development of technologies that will be of benefit to NASA.
This position will be part of the 7440 Business team, reporting to the Business Administration Manager. The business team works together as a team and enjoys a supportive environment where communication is encouraged, opened and frequent. We utilize a team email address, Teams, Gateway, Slack and Wiki to document procedures, track purchases and ensure we are accessible to our customers and each other.
Primary responsibilities include:
Provide administrative support to the Nightshade project 430D and additional support to the entire cleared community.
Manages calendars, schedules meetings for management, leads and team members.
Handles all project related travel for Nightshade management and assists line org business team with classified travel.
May coordinate special events and associated logistics.
Assists in developing project review/presentation materials.
Handles visitor and conference room logistics to ensure a seamless event.
Demonstrate proven customer service orientation, excellent organization skills, and flexibility in the performance of the job.
Focused on prioritizing work and completing assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Typically requires a High School diploma with at least 6 years of related experience or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Thrives in working as a member of a team
Exercises good judgement, initiative, attention to detail and follow-through.
Models positive, helpful, community member behaviors.
Ability to lift/move 20 pounds unassisted.
Takes responsibility and initiative.
Successfully multi-tasks.
Fluent with: Microsoft Suite, Teams, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook and items on the “core” software build
Ability to identify, learn, and apply new processes to improve office operations.
Willingness to learn new technologies and tools to enhance and/or improve office processes.
Motivated self-starter who takes the initiative to perform activities and resolve unusual or nonstandard problems.
Comfortable taking the initiative to ask questions.
Desire to figure things out.
Effective interactions with all levels of personnel and provide excellent customer service.
Demonstrated success in a support position with the ability to maintain patience and composure in a dynamic work environment that includes interruptions and changing priorities.
Must have current drivers license
Must have TS/SCI w Poly
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Concur travel application.

The hiring range displayed below is specifically for those who will work in or reside in the location listed. In extending an offer, Jet Propulsion Laboratory considers factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s job related skills, experience, knowledge, and relevant education/training.

$79,560 - $103,376
