Associate, POQ (Production, Operations & Quality) (m/f/d)

Mission Brief

As Associate for the Production, Operations & Quality (POQ) division, you will be the right-hand person to the Vice President POQ, supporting them in both strategic and operational tasks. You will play a coordinating role in major projects, such as the planning and execution of a site relocation, and act as a sparring partner. With your broad expertise in production and engineering, you ensure that all activities are optimally aligned and contribute to the long-term development of the organization.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

• Managing, coordinating, and tracking cross-functional initiatives and projects (e.g., site relocation)
• Analyzing and optimizing existing production, operations, and quality processes
• Interface management between production, engineering, quality assurance, and other relevant departments
• Acting as a sparring partner for the VP POQ in all strategic and production-related matters
• Supporting the development and implementation of long-term strategies and organizational structures
• Conducting trend and competitive analyses to identify potential for improvement
• A high level of motivation and interest, as well as active involvement in the further development and optimization of rocket systems.

Qualification Checklist

• University degree in engineering, production technology, industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in production, engineering, or related areas, with proven expertise in solution-oriented action for quickly and effectively solving complex challenges
• Demonstrable experience in leading and coordinating complex projects, preferably in a production environment
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Excellent organizational skills, communication strength, and a high degree of initiative
• Ability to clearly present and prioritize complex issues
• Team player with a hands-on mentality
• Strong enthusiasm for high technologies
• Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
