We are looking to add an Manufacturing Technician II to our team. In this role you will perform assembly, integration, inspection, and testing of products and assemblies using established manufacturing procedures and work instructions. This role contributes to manufacturing operations by producing quality hardware, supporting production activities, and applying manufacturing processes to ensure products satisfy engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements.

Working cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, quality, production control, and supply chain teams, the Manufacturing Technician II supports manufacturing activities throughout the production lifecycle.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components, subassemblies, and products using approved work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, production equipment, and test equipment supporting manufacturing activities.
  • Perform production tasks, troubleshoot routine assembly issues, and maintain established quality and productivity standards.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring equipment and inspection tools.
  • Verify completed assemblies meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Record production, inspection, traceability, and nonconformance information in manufacturing documentation.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, production control, and supply chain teams supporting production activities.
  • Support material handling, equipment setup, inventory accuracy, workstation organization, and continuous production flow.
  • Communicate production status, quality concerns, equipment issues, and improvement opportunities to supervisors and team members.
  • Apply manufacturing procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, and company policies throughout production.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Recommend improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree, technical certification, formal occupational training, military training, or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing technology, industrial technology, electronics technology, mechanical technology, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 0–3 years of related experience in manufacturing, production assembly, mechanical assembly, electronics assembly, or related production operations.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, production processes, and safe manufacturing practices.
  • Experience applying manufacturing documentation, material handling, and production procedures.
  • Applies sound judgment and attention to detail while supporting manufacturing operations and resolving routine production issues.
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Manufacturing equipment, test equipment, and production systems used to support assembly and manufacturing operations.
  • Manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP systems, and electronic work instruction applications, e.g. Epicor, SAP, Solumina, or equivalent applications.
