Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist to join our Parts Materials Process Control Board (PMPCB) team located in El Segundo, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage and act as the Control Point of approved parts lists (APL) for all El Segundo space programs, by working with PMPCB chairs, engineering, M&P, Survivability, Planning and Supplier Management.
Effective communication, influence, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
Experience with electronic parts and works well independently with people across organizations with varying backgrounds and experience and will have a proven track record of successfully managing and integrating projects from initiation through completion.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
3+ years’ experience in aerospace or defense industry
3+ years’ experience in electrical, electronic and electromechanical (EEE) parts and materials
10+ years of experience in a role that requires project management skills
Experience working in a cross functional environment
5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Active security clearance or ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
Strong communication skills with experience engaging stakeholders at multiple levels.
Familiarity with engineering disciplines and their roles within complex programs.
Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Typical Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)
