
Experienced or Senior Internal Quality Auditor (Level 3 or 4)

The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced or Senior Internal Quality Auditor to join the Quality Team.
Note: This position requires the ability to travel frequently to Boeing sites, as scheduled.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform internal QMS audits in accordance with the applicable QMS standard(s) and internal requirements.
- Develops and manages audit plans and schedules.
- Conducts risk analysis to determine audit focus areas.
- Support and advise site management on preparation for third party audits.
- Performs benchmarking of enterprise best-practices.
- Reviews of complex proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring they are effectively implemented in the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Advises leadership on development of business strategies that influence directives and policies.
- Advises multi-function groups on development of processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory, statutory and AS9100 requirements are deployed.
- Consults in high level reviews of corrective actions at the site, enterprise and customer level to assure that trends or systemic issues are identified and advises on development and implementation of corrective actions.
- Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
- Represents the Company on industry working groups to develop industry standards for quality as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience in leading or managing projects and teams
- Experience working with AS9100, AS9110, AS9120, or similar QMS standard
- 5+ years of experience auditing to quality system standards
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Ideal Candidate has successfully completed an industry recognized aerospace auditor training.) (Note: this will be required within 3 months of employment if selected)
- Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
- 5+ years of technical experience in an aerospace environment
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 40% of the time.

Summary pay range:
Experienced, Level 3: $88,400 - $138,000
Senior, Level 4: $108,800 - $170,200
