Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring for an Associate or Mid-Level Electronic Design & Analysis Engineer (Level 2 or 3) in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Technical support for production and test of space-qualified electronics. This includes supporting production across various shifts and occasional weekends

• Conducts Root Cause and Corrective Action to investigate failures and execute go-forward plans. Provides engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the products
• Identifies, maintains, tracks, and statuses detailed technical performance to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements for various electronic products
• Develops, deploys, and supports new processes to enable efficient performance of engineering tasks to reduce cycle time and drive product improvements.
• Apply knowledge of circuit stress analysis including electrical and electronic components, circuit design and schematics, and circuit loads (e.g., power, current, thermal and voltage)
• Demonstrates an interest in personal learning and development. Seeks feedback from multiple sources about how to improve and develop; modifies behavior based on feedback or self-analysis of past mistakes. Takes steps to develop and maintain the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform
• Identifying and correcting conditions and behaviors that affect employee, public, and customer safety; upholding safety standards; demonstrating proactive safety culture leadership

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• Two (2) or more years of experience in the development of test system requirements and verification methodologies

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
• Hands‑on familiarity with common electronic test equipment and test cases for power and digital systems

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering
• Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with leading space application hardware from initial to final acceptance testing
• Knowledge of electronics concepts (control, analog, digital, power supply behavior) sufficient to collaborate effectively with electrical engineers and interpret test results
• Knowledge and experience in control, analog, digital, or power supply circuit design for space applications
• Proven troubleshooting experience in lab environments such as diagnosing software, instrument, and integration issues during test execution
• Experience with electronics laboratory instrumentation to troubleshoot circuit design and hardware manufacturing errors
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources

Associate (Level 2) Summary pay range: $98,600 - $133,400

Mid-Level (Level 3) Summary pay range: $119,850 - $162,150
