This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.Our company is committed to operational excellence, delivering high-quality products on time while optimizing resources and maintaining lean manufacturing principles. As a Master Production Scheduler, you will serve as the critical link between sales forecasts, customer orders, and manufacturing operations. You will develop, maintain, and communicate comprehensive production schedules that balance customer demand with manufacturing capabilities while optimizing resource utilization. Your strategic planning will directly impact our ability to meet delivery commitments, manage inventory levels, and maximize operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule using advanced planning techniques and ERP/MRP systems
- Analyze sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels to create realistic production schedules
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Engineering teams to align production plans with business objectives
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and capacity issues
- Monitor production progress against schedules and implement adjustments as needed
- Lead S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes and participate in cross-functional planning meetings
- Generate and distribute production schedule reports to key stakeholders
- Perform capacity planning to ensure optimal resource utilization
- Work with Procurement to ensure material availability aligns with production needs
- Analyze historical data to identify trends and improve forecasting accuracy
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling efficiency and effectiveness
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of MRP, capacity planning, and inventory management principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across departments
- Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and just-in-time production
Preferred Qualifications:
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD)
- Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or other quality management methodologies
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with demand forecasting techniques and statistical analysis
- Project management experience or certification
- Experience leading cross-functional teams or process improvement initiatives

Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
