This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.
GLOBAL IMMIGRATION SPECIALIST
The Global Immigration Specialist will play a crucial role in all aspects of international employment and immigration (primarily international with support as needed for domestic), and employee mobility across the company’s multiple international entities. This role will play an integral part in providing employee guidance and support, identifying process improvements and gaps, and developing tools to support growth of international and extensive travel programs. This role ensures all legal, tax, and employment regulations are met while supporting seamless movement of employee talent.
SPECIAL MENTION:
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%).
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation to a Blue Origin office location.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage visa applications and immigration documentation needed for sponsoring employees to work outside the U.S., focused on the EU and APAC with other international locations as needed.
- Advise HR leadership on emerging international immigration laws and risk areas on an ongoing basis.
- Partner with legal to create, implement, and update global HR, mobility policies and international handbooks.
- Partner with global mobility vendor to manage mobility cases, including short-term assignments, long-term transfers, and remote work.
- Track and report on global mobility and immigration data (visa status, work authorization, travel days, etc.).
- Work with external counsel to update legal documentation, including employment agreements or other related documents.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience.
- 2+ years of experience in global HR, immigration, or mobility management.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ of experience in global HR, immigration, or mobility management, strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and operational organizations to manage compliance obligations.
Base Pay Range for:
WA applicants is $112,059.00 - $156,882.60Other site ranges may differ

- Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
