Introduction to the job
As financial statutory and consolidation specialist, you work at the center of global financial consolidation and reporting. You ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders worldwide.
Role and responsibilities
As financial statutory and consolidation specialist, you will play a key role in worldwide ASML group consolidation. You will drive on time and accurate internal and external reporting on financials (US GAAP and IFRS), including XBRL filings. Furthermore, you will engage in different projects and take part in continuous improvement activities (process/cooperation/system) to ensure we remain a world-class finance organization, keeping up with the growth of ASML. You will collaborate with various stakeholders such as Finance Operations teams, Business Insights & Control, Expert Accounting teams, Legal, and work closely with external auditors.
In this role, you will:
- Perform analytical review on consolidated level to ensure correctness of the consolidated numbers
- Support the quality and support on the reporting of financial and non-financial information
- Ensure SOx compliance for the consolidation processes
- Contribute to the statutory reporting process for the legal entities;
- Prepare account reconciliations and explanations and correction on any variances
- Ensure elimination of intercompany transactions and balances
- Assist in preparation of quarter and annual financial statements (IFRS and US GAAP) and timely report on month end, quarter end and annual functions and figures
Education and experience
Master’s degree in business economics or accounting
Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience
Experience with consolidation, US GAAP and IFRS
Understanding of financial accounting processes, inclusive of the automation tooling supportive to the consolidation and external reporting process
Experience with Excel, and preferably with SAP and BPC
Fluent English speaking and writing
