
Manufacturing - Industrial Engineer (Business Engineer) - Linkou
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date visibility of manufacturing WIP and output status, and perform capacity planning.
- Identify, analyze, and proactively predict bottlenecks across the manufacturing process.
- Support Manufacturing Team Leaders (TL), Group Leaders (GL), and managers in decision-making through data-driven and persuasive analysis.
- Design reporting formats and deliver routine performance and KPI reports for Manufacturing and Business Engineering management.
- Develop management control systems to support financial planning and analysis, including cost, labor hours, and cycle time. Design and optimize production planning and control systems to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Major in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or other Engineering-related fields.
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Strategic Planning, or Business Intelligence-related roles.
- Experience in the Semiconductor or Electronics industry is a strong plus.
Personal Skills
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to perform cost and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP frameworks and SAP operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with Spotfire, Power BI, and data structures is a plus.
Context of the Position
- Interface and collaborate closely with multiple departments, including Central Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain Engineering, and Quality.
- Communicate across functions to develop the most feasible and effective solutions.
- Influence stakeholders effectively without formal authority in both vertical and horizontal organizations.
- Manage and prioritize multiple requests and changing business needs.
- Contribute proactively by proposing solutions and concepts, providing insights, and executing departmental responsibilities.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
