About Us
Array Labs builds advanced radar systems to help humanity understand and respond to changes across the physical world.
We're launching a coordinated fleet of radar satellites to create a high-resolution 3D map of the Earth, updated in real time, enabling faster, smarter decision-making for government and commercial organizations supporting disaster response, infrastructure resilience, and mission-critical geopolitical intelligence.
We design and build our satellites end-to-end, producing the world's most advanced earth observation satellites. Our fleet will deliver unprecedented levels of accuracy, coverage, and responsiveness to power critical insights precisely where they're needed most.
About the Job
Array Labs is looking for a Technical Communications Lead to shape how we tell our story to customers, investors, and partners. This is a hands-on strategic communications and content role at a fast-moving company: you'll be writing, designing, and producing the materials that represent Array Labs in high-stakes conversations. From investor presentations to government capability briefs to one-pager pitches, you will help define how Array Labs positions itself in the market, shaping the narrative architecture underpinning our external engagement across the board. Your work will sit at the center of how Array Labs presents itself to the world.
Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to develop messaging strategy for new markets, product launches, and high-stakes business development pursuits as the company and products mature
Own Array Labs' overarching narrative framework, defining how the company is positioned, with differentiators and mission sets across all external audiences
Collaborate closely with engineering, business development, and brand design to translate highly technical content into accessible, compelling narratives
Build and maintain pitch decks, sales presentations, and briefing materials for government and commercial audiences
Write clear, persuasive copy that communicates Array Labs' value proposition and products across different contexts and buyers
Design slide layouts and produce data visualization content to make complex technical concepts intuitive, accessible, and compelling
Contribute to proposal,RFP responses, and marketing material; translating requirements into winning narratives
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering, Communications, Business, Government or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in technical writing, communications, marketing, investor relations, or product marketing
Proven ability to work with highly technical subject matter and extract clear, compelling narratives from engineers and experts for non-technical audiences
Strong writing and slide design skills with hands-on ownership of written content, data visualization, and visual layout (PowerPoint, Google Slides)
Comfortability establishing ownership while operating in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment, with an eye for detail and product consistency
Preferred Skills & Experience
3–5 years in a writing-heavy, content-forward, or communications-focused role, ideally at a defense tech, aerospace, satellite, or similarly technical company
Background in a STEM field or strong communications training, ideally both, with the ability to hold your own in a room of engineers and translate for a variety of audiences (including government customers, commercial customers, peer satellite companies, and investors)
Experience developing and owning communications or messaging strategy, crafting narrative frameworks for a product line or brand
Experience translating data and metrics into clear, persuasive charts and visuals
Familiarity with government procurement, proposal writing, or Government contracting
Strong editorial judgment and a low tolerance for jargon and filler
Prior experience at a high-growth startup or early-stage company where communications and/or marketing function was being built, not inherited
Compensation & Benefits
Our hiring and compensation strategy is simple: find uncommonly good people and pay them uncommonly well.
We offer high flexibility between salary and equity-based compensation. Final candidates can choose from three compensation mixes: low, medium, or high equity. Equity is a significant component of total compensation, and we aim to provide meaningful ownership for this role.
Full-time employees also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, commuter benefits, and more.
Interview Process
We will conduct interviews via Google Meet with the potential for an onsite visit; the typical process takes around 3-5 weeks to complete from start to finish.
