About Us

Array Labs is building a new way to understand the physical world.

Today, most geospatial systems are built around flat imagery, incomplete elevation models, slow refresh cycles, or narrow-area surveys. The world increasingly needs something better: accurate, frequently updated 3D information about the places, infrastructure, terrain, and activity that shape human decisions.

Array is building that system. We are developing a coordinated fleet of radar satellites designed to create high-resolution 3D data products of the Earth at unprecedented scale, speed, and reliability. Our technology is built to work across wide areas, through clouds, day and night, and to support both commercial and government customers operating in environments where timely physical-world understanding matters.

We design and build our satellites, radar payloads, sensing systems, and data products end-to-end. Our goal is to make 3D geospatial intelligence dramatically more accessible, useful, and operationally relevant for customers in mapping, infrastructure, disaster response, defense, intelligence, energy, telecommunications, mining, and other industries that depend on understanding the changing Earth.

About the Job
As Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure, you will own the cloud infrastructure and developer platform that engineers use to build, test, and run everything from radar processing to satellite operations. This includes designing secure and compliant AWS environments, maintaining infrastructure as code, building self-hosted developer tools, and optimizing CI/CD and hardware-in-the-loop testing. You will work closely with software developers, radar engineers, test engineers, and business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate AWS infrastructure (commercial and GovCloud) using Terraform
  • Design and operate our cloud  network: VPC, architecture, routing, DNS, VPN, and hybrid links to our ground sites
  • Own cloud security and compliance for a regulated environment: access controls, encryption, audit logging, and continuous monitoring
  • Run self-hosted developer tools, including GitLab, CI runners, observability, and AI infrastructure
  • Build golden path deployment options for internal tooling, and lead the buildout of a developer experience roadmap
  • Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure as a software engineer or platform engineer
  • Deep AWS experience across multi-account environments, including IAM, VPC networking, and container and compute services
  • Hands-on Terraform experience (or equivalent infrastructure-as-code)
  • Strong networking fundamentals (routing, DNS, VPNs) and the ability to debug connectivity problems end to end
  • Backend software development proficiency: experience building APIs, databases, or other production services
  • Experience building and speeding up CI/CD pipelines and container builds
  • Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Backend or full stack software engineer experience, especially at an early-stage robotics, autonomy, or aerospace company
  • Comfort in regulated or export-controlled environments (especially ITAR, FedRAMP, CMMC)
  • Experience optimizing the developer experience: building observability platforms, handling complex build environments, managing container registries and package managers
  • Previous experience building infrastructure for agentic workloads and self-hosted AI tools
  • Active U.S. security clearance, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Compensation & Benefits
Our hiring and compensation strategy is simple: find uncommonly good people and pay them uncommonly well.

We offer high flexibility between salary and equity-based compensation. Final candidates can choose from three compensation mixes: low, medium, or high equity. Equity is a significant component of total compensation, and we aim to provide meaningful ownership for this role.

Full-time employees also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, commuter benefits, and more.

    Interview Process
We will conduct interviews via Google Meet with the potential for an onsite visit; the typical process takes around 3-5 weeks to complete from start to finish.
