Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft recherche un Ingénieur Certification Qualification (f/h) pour rejoindre notre équipe de certification pour les hélicoptères basée à Toulouse, France.

Vous ferez partie d'une équipe gérant les activités de Certification et de Navigabilité pour Airbus Helicopters. En tant que membre de l'équipe Certification Hélicoptères, vous serez impliqué dans les approbations de certification pour les modifications apportées aux hélicoptères, conformément aux privilèges de l'Agrément d'Organisme de Conception (DOA) d'Airbus, visant à assurer la sécurité de la flotte.

Vos challenges:

La mission de l'Ingénieur en Certification est principalement de mener la démonstration de conformité aux exigences de navigabilité applicables (FAR29/CS29) pour chaque nouvelle modification de conception.

Cela se traduit par un poste transverse stimulant, avec de nombreuses interfaces en interne chez Airbus Helicopters (Chef d'Ingénierie, Responsables Conception Systèmes, experts, support client, atelier prototype, pilotes et ingénieurs d'essais en vol, ...), mais aussi avec les Autorités de l'Aviation (EASA) et, selon le projet, vous pourriez également être amené à interagir avec les Autorités militaires. Cela permet d'avoir une bonne vue d'ensemble des produits et de l'organisation d'Airbus Helicopters.

En tant qu'Ingénieur Qualification Certification (CQE) pour les hélicoptères, vous aurez l'opportunité de travailler sur une grande variété de sujets.

Vous devrez comprendre tous les aspects de chaque projet (contenu technique, configuration) afin d'être en mesure d'établir le programme de certification (CP) associé. Il consiste en l'identification de toutes les exigences FAR29/CS29 concernées, et des Moyens de Conformité proposés. En tant que CQE, vous avez l'entière responsabilité d'établir une stratégie de certification et de l'harmoniser avec tous les “compliance verification Engineers” (CVE) pertinents. En tant que CQE, vous serez l'interface principale avec l'EASA.

• Gestion de Projet :

• Planification et pilotage des activités de certification et des examens Helionix

• Identification et atténuation des risques

• Gestion des priorités en interne et avec les Autorités (en particulier avec le Gestionnaire de Certification de Projet de l'EASA),

• Suivi et reporting sur la progression des activités de démonstration de conformité, résolution des points délicats et garantie de l'achèvement des activités dans les délais,

• Assurer l'interface avec le processus de gestion du comité de modification.

• Activités de Certification :

• Piloter une ou plusieurs étapes de certification pour un programme donné (H135, H145, H160 ou H175) selon les besoins en fonction des différents besoin de certification.

• Identification et définition de la base de certification applicable (navigabilité et OSD) et CRI,

• Définition de la logique de certification, établissement du programme de certification correspondant, avec le soutien pertinent des experts en navigabilité,

• Validation des démonstrations de conformité proposées par le bureau d'études

• Contribuer aux activités de certification au niveau de l'hélicoptère : consolider les résultats de la démonstration de conformité et déclarer la conformité au niveau de l'hélicoptère pour soutenir leur livraison.

Ce rôle implique des déplacements professionnels à Marignane ou Donauworth et en Europe, et en tant que tel, vous devez être en mesure de voyager en conséquence.

Votre carte d’embarquement: 

• Diplômé(e) à un niveau Bac+5 (ou équivalent) en ingénierie ou dans une discipline connexe.

• Au moins 5 années d'expérience globale en ingénierie.

• Au moins 1 années d'expérience en certification d'un aéronef.

• Une expérience en gestion de projet serait un atout.

• Une expérience en avionique serait un atout

• Connaissance de la navigabilité.

• Niveau de négociation en anglais.

You will be part of a team Managing Certification and Airworthiness activities for Airbus Helicopter. As part of the Helicopter Certification team, you will be involved in certification approvals for changes to Helicopters in accordance with Airbus Design Organization Approval (DOA) privileges aiming at ensuring the safety of the fleet.

Your challenges:

The mission of the Certification Engineer is mainly to lead the compliance demonstration to the applicable airworthiness requirements (FAR29/CS29) for each new design change.
This results in a challenging transverse position, with many interfaces internally to Airbus Helicopters (Chief Engineering, System Design Responsibles, experts, customer support, prototype shop, flight tests pilots & engineers, ..), but also with Aviation Authorities (EASA) and pending the project you may have to interact also with military Authorities. This is leading to a good overview on Airbus Helicopters products and organization.
As Helicopters CQE, you will have the opportunity to work on a large variety of topics.

You will have to understand all the aspects of each project (technical content, configuration) in order to be able to establish the related certification program (CP). It consists in the identification of all FAR29/CS29 affected requirements, and proposed Means of Compliance. As CQE you have the full responsibility to establish a certification strategy, and to harmonize it with all relevant Certification Verification Engineers. As CQE you will be the main interface towards EASA.

• Project Management:

• Planning and piloting of Certification activities and reviews

• Risk identification and mitigation

• Managing priorities internally and with Authorities (particularly with EASA Project Certification Manager),

• Follow-up and reporting on compliance demonstration activities progress, fixing hard points, and ensuring on time completion of the activities,

• Ensuring interface with change board management process.

• Certification activities:

• Leading  1 or several certification projects for a program (H135, H145, H160 or H175) as needed depending on the different on-going certification projects,

• Identification and definition of the applicable Certification basis (airworthiness and OSD) and CRI,

• Definition of Certification logic, establishing corresponding Certification Program, with relevant support from the Airworthiness experts,

• Validating compliance demonstrations proposed by the design office,

• Contributing to the helicopter level certification activities: consolidating the results of the compliance demonstration and declaring compliance at helicopter level to support their delivery.

This role involves business travel to Marignane or Donauworth and within Europe, and as such, you must be able to travel accordingly.

Your boarding pass:

• Educated to a 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline,

• At least 5 years of overall Engineering experience,

•  At least 1 year of experience in Certification of an aircraft,

• Experienced in project management would be a plus,

• Experience in Avionic would be a plus,

• Knowledge of airworthiness,

• Negotiation level of English.

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
