The Problem

Healthcare providers spend 2–10% of their revenue just to get paid for services they've already provided. The process is so manual and complex that providers are forced to either build an in-house billing team in an area they have no expertise in, or pay a third party up to 10% of revenue and hope they actually chase every dollar. They won't.

What We Do

Overdrive Health is an AI-native, full-stack billing company. We automate the work that makes up the bulk of medical billing: insurance phone calls, documentation checks, benefit verification, claim submission, denial management, and more. Because automation makes even small-dollar claims profitable to pursue, our incentives are truly aligned with our clients'. We go after every single dollar they're owed.

Business Model

We offer end-to-end, fully lifecycle outsourced medical billing services. We're acquiring our design partner already serving 20+ ambulance providers and processing over $50M in claims per year. EMS billing is our wedge; the technology we're building is applicable across all medical verticals.

Founder

Michael Schroeder has spent his career automating workflows in operationally complex businesses — first as an engineering lead at Up&Up, then helping scale AI unicorn EliseAI from $35M to over $100M in ARR. Before that, he worked at Facebook (not Meta!) and Citadel.
