Job Description
Aktoria builds remote teleoperation software for robots. As a Forward Deployed Engineer intern, you'll get our software running on customers' robots in the field we fly you to client sites to deploy, integrate, and debug on real hardware.
What you'll do:
- Deploy and configure Aktoria's teleoperation stack on customer robots on-site.
- Debug across software, networking, and hardware in real-world conditions.
- Work directly with customers to get their robots running reliably.
- Bring what you learn in the field back to the core engineering team.
You might be a fit if you:
- Are comfortable with basic networking.
- Have hands-on experience with robots, hardware, or embedded systems.
- Can debug unfamiliar systems under pressure.
- Are willing to travel and work directly with customers.
Nice to have: ROS, real-time systems, or video streaming experience.
