Remote Research Finetuning Science Jobs

research.

We're hiring our first AI researcher to found the lab. Most RL environments are simulated.

As a research engineer you will work on improving Kapa’s ability to answer harder and harder technical questions.

We are looking for an applied research scientist that brings their expertise in deep learning and foundation models to take this to the next level.

Research Direction and Execution: Independently identify, formulate, and lead research projects involving in-context learning, agentic

We’re a small, technical team where researchers ship code and engineers read papers.

We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science.

Qualifications PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related field — or an equivalent record of research excellence

Equivalent depth from a quant research or trading environment.

Drive product & research roadmap You’ll own our data roadmap end-to-end, formulating research questions, exploring/linking/expanding

Translate research findings into production agent improvements, working closely with engineering.

researchers and engineers.

You haven't finetuned a model that reached production. You need a research agenda handed to you before you move.

A PhD or equivalent research doctorate in epidemiology, health services research, outcomes research, biostatistics, public health, nutrition science

This is a chance to contribute to open-source research, design experiments, and explore the frontiers of agentic AI.
