Zac (Xiang) Pan joined Lightspeed China Partners in 2013. He focuses on the firm’s investment efforts across multiple sectors: Internet, mobile, digital media and consumer services. Prior to LCP, Zac worked at Steamboat Ventures based out of its Shanghai office where he actively participated in portfolio management and deal sourcing in a broad range of sectors including mobile, e-commerce, gaming, digital advertising, online travel and education. Prior to Steamboat Ventures, Zac started his career at China Renaissance, a leading boutique investment bank in China, where he actively helped to execute private placements and M&A transactions totaling over $200million in proceeds working with some of the leading private consumer and technology companies in China. Zac holds a B.S. in Instrument Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). At SJTU, Zac was awarded a scholarship to attend a study tour at the Stern School of Business in New York. In addition, as an active volunteer in community service, Zac served as the leader of the Youth Volunteer Team at the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering at SJTU where he was awarded Shanghai Outstanding Young Volunteer in 2008.
