Yaara Kassner

Yaara Joined Vertex investment team in 2021. As Director of Value Creation, Yaara works closely with Vertex portfolio companies, leveraging the Vertex community and network to deliver value, support growth and facilitate business opportunities. Prior to Vertex, Yaara has always focused on the intersection of tech, politics and non-profit. Yaara led cross-border environmental initiatives as Project Manager at EcoPeace Middle East, worked as Programme Manager at the British Embassy in Israel, and promoted diversity hiring, STEM education and global business development efforts as International Relations Manager at IATI. Yaara holds a BA in International Relations and Media & Journalism from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Magna Cum Laude); 8200 Alumna
