Wei Chen

Wei Chen is Chairman and Co-Founder of OFC. Prior to founding OFC in 2006, Dr. Chen worked at Shenzhen Capital Group Co., Ltd., the largest venture capital firm in China, serving as President from 2002 to 2006. His investment portfolio companies include Sinovel (SH. 601558), Grandland (SZ. 002047), Sunway (SZ.300136), Wolwo Bio-Pharma (SZ.300357), Prolto Supply (SZ.002769), etc. Over the years, he has won numerous awards, including Forbes China Top Venture Capitalist Zero2IPO Top 10 Venture Capitalist and ChinaVenture Hurun Midas List. Chen holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Xiamen University. He is a distinguished guest professor at Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Xiamen University, Xiamen National Accounting Institute, Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, China Europe International Business School, and China Capital Market Institute.
