Victor Cortes

Víctor Cortés is the Investor Lead for Hispanic Markets at Latitud Ventures, where he backs early-stage startups across Latin America with a focus on fintech, AI, and vertical SaaS, crypto and more. Before joining Latitud, he built a diverse track record at the intersection of venture capital finance, tech startups, and media. He founded Contxto, one of the region’s first startup publications, and later co-founded Tracción, a podcast and growth advisory collective for early-stage startups. He also held strategic roles at fintech startups like Tribal and Carttera, and was previously an investor at Redwood Ventures. Víctor brings a hands-on, operator-investor mindset and is passionate about helping founders scale from zero to one across Latin America.
