Tao Yang

Tao Yang joined Lightspeed China Partners in 2014. Tao focuses on firm's investment efforts across multiple sectors including Internet, mobile, ecommerce, O2O and consumer services. Tao is actively involved with portfolio companies including KuaiJianKang, XiaoLuo, BWC Mall, Standard Financial Inclusion, Meichai and Trusted Doctors. Previously, Tao worked as Investment Manager at Ventech China, focusing on investing in Internet, mobile and ecommerce sectors. Before Ventech, Tao worked as Senior Associate at ChinaRock Capital and as Associate at New Access Capital. With focus on early-stage investments, Tao has actively participated in investing in Baozun(NASDAQ: BZUN), Junyao Airline(SH: 603885), Molway(NEEQ:430640), UnitedStack, Tony's Farm，etc. Tao hold a B.A. in International Economics & Trade from Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) and completed an exchange program at Business School of National University of Singapore (NUS). Tao is president of YVCC (Young Venture Capitalist Club) Shanghai, a club for young venture capitalists affiliated with China Venture Capital Association (CVCA).
