Stu Bailey joined ModelOp as Co-founder and Chief Enteprise AI Architect in 2020.Stuart "Stu" Bailey is the founder and Chief Scientist of Infoblox, the automated network control company, where he defines the company's technological vision. Stu is a distributed systems expert who has been working at the intersection of distributed systems and networking for 19 years. He has been honored as an entrepreneur, distributed systems architect and protocol designer. In 1999, at 28 years old, Stu founded Infoblox, a Sequoia Capital-backed company, which went public in April 2012. Today, over 6,300 enterprises and service providers in 25 countries rely on Infoblox to make their networks more available, secure and automated. Prior to founding Infoblox, Stu worked for Dr. Robert Grossman (now at the University of Chicago) at the National Center for Data Mining. During his five years there, Stu led teams that developed advanced distributed data architectures and participated in building the National Scalable Cluster Project and the National Center for Data Mining. He guided these teams to several awards in the High Performance Computing Challenge at Supercomputing conferences.
