Saad Gómez

Saad Gómez, Venture Partner, began with Oak in 2011 and became a Venture Partner in 2014. He currently focuses on Oak’s strategic opportunities in key emerging markets. Angel has a wide range of industry experience in technology, energy, consumer internet, finance, logistics, communications, and consumer packaged goods. He works closely with several Oak portfolio companies including eSolar, NowThis, Airspan, Mimosa Networks, Limelight Networks (NSDQ: LLNW), FRS, and on an ad hoc basis with other portfolio companies. Angel has a finance and consulting background, having advised Fortune 500 and technology companies, and family offices. A native of Mexico, he has served in several advisory capacities to the Mexican Government and with Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM), a top international research institution, in their ecosystem development initiatives. Angel actively contributes to developing ecosystems in key emerging markets around the world. Angel holds a BA from Stanford University, where he rowed for Stanford’s Crew team.
