Previously, he was the CEO and Co-Founder of Mobspin and Director of Product Management at Intuit, leading teams on small-business products including QuickBooks and Intuit Online Payroll. He has a PhD in computer science from Stanford; his research on integrating XML, search engines, and relational databases earned the Samuel Award for best thesis of 2000. In high school Roy built the leading desktop publishing software for Atari 8 bit computers.
