Ron Burkle

Ron Burkle has served as a member of [Yahoo's](http://www.crunchbase.com/organization/yahoo) board of directors since November 2001. Burkle is managing partner of The Yucaipa Companies, a private investment firm, which he co-founded in 1986. Burkle also serves as a director of Yucaipa Equity Partners, L.P., Occidental Petroleum Corp. and KB Home Corporation.
