As our VP Research, Dr. Gervais oversees our research investment activities and manages our ongoing research portfolio. Responsible for NBIF's Research Innovation Fund, Research Assistantship Initiative (RAI) and Research Technicians Initiative (RTI), Dr. Gervais is our primary liaison with the province’s research institutions, universities, and community colleges. He pays particular attention to the commercial potential of our research investments. Before joining NBIF, Roger served as President and CEO of the Centre international pour le développement de l’inforoute en français (CIDIF), and as Professor and Vice President of the Université de Moncton, Edmundston Campus. He is a graduate of the Collège Saint-Louis (BA), the Université de Moncton (BEd, MEd,) and Dalhousie University (PhD).
