Raoul Stein

Raoul joined Kreos in 1999 and over the last 12 years has built a highly active presence as the leading senior credit provider to high-growth companies in Israel, as well as supporting a wide range of transactions across Europe. Mr. Stein also plays a key role in the management and execution of Kreos's overall strategy. Before joining Kreos, Raoul was an associate with Apax Partners in Israel where he invested in services and high-growth technology businesses and corporate spin-offs. He also assisted the general partners in fund-related activities such as divestment of their funds' successes traded on NASDAQ, and in general fund-raising activities such as portfolio analysis, reporting and due diligence for the purpose of raising new funds. Prior to joining Apax Partners, Raoul was an associate with Friedman , Turbidy & Co, a New York-based financial advisory firm. Raoul assisted the managing partner in several refinancing and acquisition transactions. He was involved in a refinancing of asset-backed loans with a large glass maker in the US, representing the company in its efforts to refinance its debt with banking institutions. In addition he was involved in fund-raising for a US based cosmetics company in its expansion. Raoul studied law at Bar-Ilan University. He clerked at the firm of M. Porath & Co in Tel-Aviv and passed the Bar exams in Israel in 1993. After that he graduated in 1995 from Columbia Business School with an MBA.
