Philippe El Khazen

Philippe is a Vice President at Valor Equity Partners, an operational growth investment firm focused on non-control and control investments in high growth companies across various stages of development. Philippe joined Valor in 2012 as an Operations Specialist. In this capacity, he led post-acquisition improvement projects and provided operational support to several portfolio companies across the consumer, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining Valor, Philippe was a member of the aerospace navigation laboratory at the Illinois Institute of Technology where his research focused on a new algorithm to enhance the integrity performance of the Global Navigation Satellite System using both GPS and Galileo constellations. Philippe holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (with Highest Honors) from the Illinois Institute of Technology, as well as a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from INSA of Strasbourg, France. In addition, Philippe was awarded the CFA charter in September 2016. He is fluent in French and Arabic and intermediate in Spanish.
