Pavle Sabic

PAVLE SABIC is thought leader and a business head, currently responsible for the Professional Services business at S&P Global. Leading the operations from the New York office, Mr. Sabic manages the overall strategic and international expansion objectives servicing audit/accounting, consulting and law firm clients. He has lived and worked in Edinburgh, London, Croatia, Madrid, Andorra and Dubai, helping to grow businesses in developed and emerging markets. He joined the firm’s London office in 2011, where he worked extensively on business development, thought leadership, and Go-to-Market strategies in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Prior to joining S&P Global, Mr. Sabic was a consultant in the risk management division of State Street Bank, and worked at Kames Capital – formerly AEGON AM – where he was as a Fixed Income Analyst. With over 10 years of industry experience, Mr. Sabic is regularly published in the media (WSJ, Forbes, Barron’s, FT etc.), and is a regular broadcast contributor to CNBC (USA, Europe, Arabia), BNN and Radio. He is also an official Associate Partner of University of Edinburgh Business School conducting joint research and business development efforts. Mr. Sabic graduated ‘summa cum laude’ BSc in Mathematics and Economics from Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and holds an MSc in Finance and Investment from the University of Edinburgh. He also holds the Financial Risk Manager certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals and was awarded the "40 Under 40" award from Global M&A Advisor Association for his cross-border research in the global M&A markets.
