Mr. Flather joined Palisade Capital in January 2013 as Portfolio Manager of the Palisade Long Short Alpha Fund, a long/short securities hedge fund, and is a member of the Investment Policy Committee. Prior to joining Palisade, Mr. Flather was the Portfolio Manager of Hermes Partners, LP, a long/short securities hedge fund. Previous to Hermes, which he founded in 1994, Mr. Flather served in institutional sales roles at Kidder, Peabody & Co., Gruntal & Co., Bateman Eichler & Co., and Smith Barney. Mr. Flather received his M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University and his B.A in Business Economics from UCLA.
