Oluseyi Bickersteth

Seyi is the National Senior Partner of KPMG Nigeria. Seyi has provided audit, tax and advisory services to clients in varied industries, including public sector, oil and gas, financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, commercial and not for profit organisations. Seyi is a director of the Nigerian-South African Chamber of Commerce and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group. He was involved in Vision 2010 Committee of the Federal Government of Nigeria, which prepared a memorandum on the vision for Nigeria by year 2020. He has garnered invaluable experience in the varied industries including energy and natural resources, where he has provided tax, regulatory and business advisory services to majors in the upstream, downstream and marketing sectors. He has also provided audit services to clients in this sector. Seyi also served on the technical committee of the Federal Government that prepared the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) for the oil and gas sector. The Bill is to reform the sector and encourage local content and active participation of indigenous players in the Nigerian oil and gas industry. He plays an oversight coordinating role in KPMG’s delivery of professional services to companies in the countries comprising the Gulf of Guinea (an oil and gas zone) including Nigeria, Cameroun, Angola, Equatorial Guinea & Gabon. He has also chaired a working group on Nigerian Tax Reform: 2003 & Beyond for the Federal Government of Nigeria.
