Niklas Ponnert

Niklas is an investor and operator with twenty years of Asia cross-border private equity investing, global capital markets, and fund management experience. Niklas is currently a Managing Director with eWTP Arabia Capital, a growth equity firm that funds and bridges Asian industry leaders to MENA. He joined the firm from B Capital, the global multi-stage investment platform. Previously, he was a Partner and Managing Director with China Equity Group, one of China’s first independent venture capital firms. Niklas launched his investing career with Siemens Venture Capital, where he structured and executed technology investments across China and South-East Asia. He has held executive and board roles with a dozen private and publicly listed portfolio companies. A Swedish national, Niklas is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. He speaks Mandarin Chinese. .
