Nathaniel F. Watson, MD, MSc, is the 2014 - 2015 president-elect of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and is board-certified in sleep medicine and neurology. Dr. Watson is a professor of neurology at the University of Washington in Seattle. He is co-director of the University of Washington Medicine Sleep Center and director of the Harborview Medical Center Sleep Clinic. Dr. Watson diagnoses and treats clinical sleep illnesses of all types, including sleep-disordered breathing, insomnia and narcolepsy. He completed his fellowship and residency in neurology at the University of Washington and earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, N.C.
