Nanette P. DeTurk

Nanette P. DeTurk has been Chief Administrative & Strategy Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer at Highmark Health since June 17, 2014. Ms. DeTurk serves as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative & Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Highmark Inc. Ms. DeTurk is responsible for administering Highmark's financial, investment and administrative activities. She provides expertise and guidance in each of these areas as Highmark Health grows its health care business and national network of diversified businesses. She has held various management positions with Highmark Inc. and its predecessor company, Pennsylvania Blue Shield since 1993. She served as Chairman of Eye Care Centers of America Inc. and Visionworks of America, Inc. She has been a Director of Visionworks of America, Inc. since 2006. Ms. DeTurk serves as a Director of Eye Care Centers of America Inc., West Penn Allegheny Health System, Inc. and Acclaris, Inc. She having served as President of the Western Pennsylvania chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and as a member of the international board of directors for JDRF. Ms. DeTurk holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from The Ohio State University, an MBA degree in finance from The Pennsylvania State University and is a licensed CPA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
